Our college guidance department partners with our students and their families for the purpose of guiding them through high school and the college admission process. During the first years of high school, the college counselors help students select appropriate classes, understand and prepare for standardized tests, and take advantage of the plethora of extra-curricular opportunities available to them. As students begin the application process, the college counselors help each family choose appropriate colleges and assist in every step of the application process.

Throughout the year, college counselors meet with students individually and in groups to discuss important topics such as financial aid, standardized testing, Naviance: Family Connections, and college essay writing. Hillel invites many college representatives to visit our campus each year and students are taken to regional college fairs as well. Overall, college guidance at Hillel Yeshiva is an interactive four-year partnership that is an integral component of every student’s secondary education.
